I'm building a new PC.

Which is nice.

I shall be ordering things on Thursday hopefully.

It should be a nice cheap system just for me.

For any one who is interested the currently planned specs are these:

XP2400+ cpu (15 x 133Mhz FSB)
512MB Kingston DDR400 (PC3200) Ram
PcChips 400Mhz MoBo (Onboard USB 2.0 for my iPod)
Radeon 9200SE Graphics card
Casecom 400Watt ATX case (with front USB and Audio)
Excelstor 7200rpm 60GB HDD
Coolermaster CP5 cpu HSF
17" Flat CRT Monitor
Win XP Pro
Office XP Pro

I allready have a CDRW e.t.c.

I have overrated mother board and ram as I intend to overclock the cpu a bit. Hopefully I can get the FSB up to 150 or 160 giving me 2.2 - 2.4 GHz. unfortuantely it is almost certainly multiplier locked so I won't be able to go much higher. The Ram is CL3 which isn't too good but I'm on a budget and I can always upgrade if it isn't good enough. Same goes for the rest of the components really.

All for a shade over £320.

Somerfield Savers cards are unbelievably rubbish.

I hate them with a passion, and will continue to until I or they die (whichever comes first).

I got my new headphones today.

They are HUGE.

I didn't think they would be as big.

They do sound and feel fantastic though so I'll live with the sillyness of how big they are.

Much bigger than my old ones below.

Better though.

Guys, it's an emotional day.

My new 20 GB iPod arrived today (much earlier than expected) so I am very excited and yet it means that soon there may be an emotional good bye to my faithfull old beauty as seen on this website.

If anyone wants ot make me an offer for my much loved pod...

I have updated my hairwash archive software so it now displays how many days between each wash.

It also shows my current average wash frequency.

Should be interesting reading.

I might put some more exciting things up here in the future. I'm just stupidly busy right now though.
